There are various other front-end applications which make a suite of the SAP Business Objects BI which collaborate together to view, sort and analyze business intelligence data. The key applications used in SAP Business Object include Crystal Reports, Xcelsius/dashboards, Ad Hoc web intelligence and Explorer for queries. The various elements have various purposes for which they are put to use. Crystal reports helps in designing and generating customized reports, the Xcelsius provides the ability to design various dashboards on which the various charts and graphs are used for visualizing data. The web intelligence module is helpful in providing a self-service environment for developing Ad Hoc queries and analysis of data in both online and offline modes. The BO explorer helps for search through the business intelligence data without creating search queries and the desired results are effectively shown through charts and other graphics.
